Revlon, Rimmel and Maybelline Lipstick HAUL

So I have a bit of a confession to make: I am obsessed with lipstick. I'm not even sure how this started but I am now constantly buying lipsticks! So I stopped by boots and picked up a few inexpensive lip products. Little bit of advice for anyone at university or going to college soon: buying expensive makeup items is not a good move! Eventually, you ARE going to leave it in a club's bathroom or you'll allow your flatmate to borrow it, only for HER to leave it in a club's bathroom. So other than foundation or concealer, don't bother investing in other beauty products, it is not not it worth so just keep your money for going out and having fun with your friends!

First stop: Gemey Maybelline! I'm generally not a huge fan of Maybelline but I've been loving the Colour Sensational lipsticks for  over a year now. My favourite shades are Femme Fatale and Coral Tonic and now, I've picked up two new ones from boots: the 916 Neon Red and the 912 Electric Orange. Both of these are from the Vivid collection which I believe came out for spring, so correct me if I'm wrong! These do not have a matte finish, nor are they extremely pigmented - basically perfect for a casual summer day!

Revlon, everybody's favourite this year! When the lip butters first came out, I practically lived in them, No joke, I wore them every single day for every single occasion. But eventually the hype faded and my enthusiasm fanned out (not to mention the fact that I lost three of my favourites on a train last year!)  So to reignite the old flame, I bought one of my old favourites: 035 Candy Apple. You all know how I love a red lip even in broad daylight, but for those occasions where it'd be frown upon to rock a bold flashy red, candy apple was my go-to product because it basically "reddens" your lip as opposed to... painting them red. Um... anyway! So the next one I picked up is 063 Wild Watermelon which I'm very excited to try!
Next stop:

Final stop: Rimmel London! More specifically KATE MOSS! The "Lasting finish by Kate Moss" lipsticks have been my favourite lip products ever since they came out and I've managed to get so many of my girlfriends and my new flatmates to jump on the bandwagon so now between us, we basically own every single one of them! The two colours that I picked up today are 111 Kiss of Life  (so beautiful!) and 110 which for some unknown-yet-terribly-annoying reason does not have a name. These are so matte and so opaque that I may never purchase a high-end lipstick. Ever.

Hope you all had a lovely easter vacation or spring break!
